Brazil Decaf
Fábrica Coffee Roasters [ PT ]
Brazil Decaf from Fábrica Coffee Roasters brings an interesting choice for lovers of fine decaffeinated coffee.
The coffee comes from the Cerrado region of Brazil, in the state of Minas Gerais, at an altitude of between 900 and 1,250 metres above sea level. The beans come from more than 3 600 farmers in this well-developed area, where cooperatives use modern agricultural technology and systematic quality control. The coffee is harvested mainly using the natural method, and the beans can be of the Mundo Novo, Catuai or Bourbon varieties - all of which contribute to a cup with full body and distinctive character, even without caffeine. Flavour-wise, Brazil Decaf is characterised by its rich body, pleasant acidity and strong chocolate notes, making it a very approachable and "easy drinking" choice for a daily filter or after lunch coffee.
The Fábrica roastery recommends it as a more economical choice - decaffeinated, but with enough depth and texture to keep the comfort and pleasure of a choice coffee from going away. It stands out for its consistency and balanced profile, which will please both newcomers to choice coffee and experienced home baristas looking for a quality decaf.
