Water doesn’t pool at a single point but spreads across the entire surface, so the coffee extracts more evenly and forgives minor pouring errors. Additionally, the ridges around the perimeter keep the filter paper away from the dripper’s wall—air can escape freely, and the flow remains stable even if you don’t pour the kettle exactly into the center. The paper is bleached with oxygen, not chlorine, so no papery aftertaste seeps into your cup.

It fits all drippers with a compatible base—whether you have a stainless-steel Kalita Wave, a glass Gino, or Tiamo or Origami drippers. If you go through filters at a higher volume, the 100-pack will last quite a while. How to use: Place the filter in the dripper and rinse it thoroughly with hot water before adding the coffee—this will help it settle and remove any residual paper odor. Then let the water drain out, add the ground coffee, brew, and dispose of the used filter along with the grounds in the compost bin.
