BOB Coffee Lab brings a distinctive approach to coffee roasting with a passion for precise profiles and a story behind every cup to Bucharest and the Romanian coffee scene. Founded by experienced masters of the field, it is a showcase of quality, innovation and gourmet coffee. BOB Coffee Lab was established in August 2017 in Bucharest in a bay near the central park, at Piața Charles de Gaulle 3. First operating as a café and roastery under the acronym "Lab", today it is a recognized space for fine coffee. The business builds on the fact that the roastery is not just a production site, but also a place of meeting, experimentation and education - beans from Panama, Indonesia and Ethiopia have been roasted, and the team strives to make each profile "unique" and stand out.

The founders are Alexandru Niculae - winner of the 2016 World Coffee Roasting Championship, and Paul Ungureanu - third place winner of the 2015 "Coffee in Good Spirits" World Championship. Together they have brought professionalism, competitive spirit and attention to detail to the Romanian scene - from the quality of the raw material, to the water system or milk, to the design of the space. 

BOB Coffee Lab is an example of a roastery that goes beyond the ordinary - it's not just about making coffee, it's about the whole experience.
