Five Elephant

Five Elephant is a Berlin-based roastery and café founded in 2010 by Kris and Sophie Schackman. From the beginning, they have built on transparent and long-term relationships with growers, sustainable production and the highest quality of selected coffee. Their clean single-origin profiles and minimalist packaging design are typical.

The roastery's headquarters are in Kreuzberg, where their first café was established, nowadays supplemented by other branches around Berlin. As well as coffee, they have also gained a reputation for their iconic cheesecake, which has become an integral part of the experience. Five Elephant builds on direct sourcing from farmers, fair prices and high quality standards, which they carry over into their collaboration with cafés, restaurants and hotels.
