The coffee distributor is made from a combination of aluminum and stainless steel. It has three precision blades on the underside that evenly distribute the ground coffee in the portafilter before you tamp it down with the tamper. The result? Every espresso shot is consistent because the coffee is evenly distributed and tamped without a single weak spot. What we particularly appreciate is the adjustable handle. It allows you to adjust the height of the blades according to how much coffee you have in the portafilter and your preferred depth of reach.

This is useful both when experimenting with new recipes and during normal operation when you want to have full control over the preparation. Use The distributor is designed for standard 58 mm levers, so you can use it with most home and professional lever coffee machines. First, grind the coffee into the lever, then gently level it with the distributor, and only then tamp it down. This speeds up the whole process and, most importantly, improves the quality of the final shot.
