Groovy

The name Groovy was not chosen by chance; this coffee aims to evoke a sense of inner dance and the joy of discovering new taste horizons. It comes from the Napoles farm in the Huila region of Colombia, where it is grown with great dedication by Wilmer Galindez. Wilmer's story is an inspiration to the coffee industry as a whole - he has managed to transform an abandoned farm into a thriving estate and, thanks to his collaboration with the Monkaaba project, has entered the market for fine coffee. Groovy's flavour profile is defined by vibrant freshness and natural sweetness with a very subtle, controlled acidity.

The unique character is the result of a sophisticated process: the cherries are first fermented whole, followed by dry fermentation of the shelled beans and finally a 20-day drying on raised beds. In the cup, you'll be surprised by the unusual combination of strawberries and honey with a distinct grenadine undertone, making it an ideal choice for those who aren't afraid to step out of their coffee routine.
