Sidamo Bombe

Sidamo Bombe is a coffee from the Ayla washing station, where some 800 small farmers in the Shantawene area bring their cherries. They grow at an altitude of around 2,000m, where the cooler nights mean the cherries ripen more slowly and develop a complex sweetness. The station works in the traditional washed way: hand sorting, fermentation for 36-48 hours and then drying on African beds.
